Waterfall to Helensburgh via the Garrawarra State Conservation Area

A day walk from Waterfall station through the southern end of Heathcote NP and the Garrawarra State Conservation Area to Helensburgh station, returning to the start by train or car shuffle.. Mostly on well-formed tracks and service trails, with the possibility of cooling off in Colliery Dam if the weather is hot.
A walk with a duration ranging from part-day to multi-day. Multi-day walks will require some form of accommodation or camping. Contact walk leader (owner) for full details.

Grading information can assist you to decide if the walk is suitable for your level of fitness and experience. However, grading is subjective and must only be taken as a guide, so always ask the walk leader for advice if you are unsure about whether the walk is suitable for you.
The walk leader has full discretion in determining if members or introductory members are accepted for any walk.

The Club’s ethos seeks to undertake more challenging and remote walking with a preference for Grade 4-6 walks but we also include some "Recreational Walks" (RW) which cover Grades 1-3.
