Quiltys Mountain Exploratory

Quiltys Mountain. From Nerriga this is an on and off track walk, camping on top or in overhangs around Quiltys Mountain. This is a very large area to explore. We will make a base for a 2 night camp and then explore with day packs. Depending on weather either swimming in Endrick River or warm campfire in an overhang. Experienced walkers only, wet feet, some scrub, party limit 6.
A walk with a duration ranging from part-day to multi-day. Multi-day walks will require some form of accommodation or camping. Contact walk leader (owner) for full details.

Grading information can assist you to decide if the walk is suitable for your level of fitness and experience. However, grading is subjective and must only be taken as a guide, so always ask the walk leader for advice if you are unsure about whether the walk is suitable for you.
The walk leader has full discretion in determining if members or introductory members are accepted for any walk.

The Club’s ethos seeks to undertake more challenging and remote walking with a preference for Grade 4-6 walks but we also include some "Recreational Walks" (RW) which cover Grades 1-3.
